Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.
The mission of the Kiwanis Club of Streamwood is to support the efforts of Kiwanis International, by actively engaging its membership in meaningful service activities and programs aimed at improving the communities in which we live.
The Club sponsors two Key Clubs. The Key Club is a high-school-based program sponsored by Kiwanis. Seventeen boys in Sacramento, California made the first Key Club in 1925, and today Key Club International is active in 20 nations and includes more than 4,600 clubs and 215,000 male and female members. More than 2 million youth have enlisted in Key Clubs since it's inception, including many top government and business leaders.
